Kvelvane Quartet

Kvelvane Quartet is the playground where Heidi Kvelvane writes all the music and the band collectively explore improvised landscapes trough tight interplay interwoven with Kvelvanes compositional ideas. The sound can be described as modern nordic jazz with inspiration from the European improvised music scene. 

The quartet released the album Ability (Kvelvane Music) May 19th 2023 together with trumpeter Simen Kiil Halvorsen which is available on all normal streaming services.
